White Sands Trading LLC follows internationally recognized standards for environmental management (ISO 14001) and is dedicated to meeting and exceeding all applicable environmental laws and regulations and implementing best management practices for the preservation of the environment. We are committed to the continual improvement of our environmental policies and our Environmental Management System.
White Sands Trading LLC has established the following Five Pillars of Sustainability and will set environmental objectives based on these areas. Our Sustainability Manager and Executive Leadership Team will evaluate our environmental performance at least annually with respect to these categories.
1. Preservation and Protection of Park Resources – White Sands Trading LLC will work with local conservation groups and government agencies to ensure that our operations align with local conservation efforts.
2. Waste Management – White Sands Trading LLC will Reduce, then Reuse, then Recycle to the greatest extent possible.
3. Energy Reduction – White Sands Trading LLC will pursue energy efficiency and work to reduce our carbon footprint.
4. Water Conservation – White Sands Trading LLC will reduce water usage and improve efficiency.
5. Sustainable Purchasing – White Sands Trading LLC will consider the upstream and downstream impacts of the products we buy, use, and sell.
